My sister is SO going to kill me for posting this.
This was a test shot as a possible location for the engagement shoot I did for her and her fiance John. She was on break from work and we’d just run into her on Elmwood. You can tell how just happy she is with me for posing her there.

This was taken outside the Lexington Co-Op on Elmwood (in Buffalo) and I was thrilled about the shot, which had a much more geometric feel… until that man moved.

The Italian Festival, closing down.
I’ll say no more about the Italian Festival, as this is not the place to air my non-charitable views.
(But I must say that the only reason I ever braved it was for the cheesy spinach garlic bread, and now that I’m lactose intolerant, I see no reason to go near that dairy mess of a festival anymore).

Can I live in that turret, pretty please? And lower myself down by the hair?

I spent the summer in Buffalo perfecting my panda shot (which is apparently what these kinds of shots are called—who knew?) At first, I was terrified of letting go of my handlebar to get my camera, turn it on, aim it, and click—after all, I can’t even drink water while I’m riding. So I practiced A LOT on quiet, one-way streets.

I discovered the Tonawanda Farmer’s Market over the summer with my mom and my aunt. They have cherries (delicious cherries, tons of different kinds of local cherries)—and hot dogs from the moment they open at 7 a.m. That makes this my kind of place.

If you help your sister and her boyfriend move, they treat you to great food—in this case, pho at our collective favorite pan-Asian restaurant in Rochester.
This place is SO hole in the wall that there really isn’t a customer bathroom… not that I’ve tested out what you do when you need to go.
Doesn’t matter—the food is amazing and that’s one of my favorite food shots ever.

My sister moved. Those are her boxes and bags full of bathroom products—as in, shampoo and conditioner and sundry assorted hair and body stuff.
I kid you not.

Winning shoes of the Stiletto Run—made from over 150 Kit Kat wrappers! I want (both the shoes and the candy bars…)

We went to a Bisons AAA baseball game. We ran late and the game was less than memorable (as in, monumentally boring until we monumentally lost) but we still had a great time.
Oh, and I got to take some pics from the car, like this one of a very splendid and very important building in downtown Buffalo, the name and purpose of which OF COURSE escapes me.
