I went to the 4th Annual Stiletto Run in Buffalo.  I didn’t run because I value having an unbroken ankle.
These dudes who placed first and second in the race?  Don’t care so much—and I’m most jealous.
It was a great lil’ run—nice money raised, great shoe envy op.

Someday I will live in a house like that one.  Even if it’s just in the basement.

My sister, dancing at Letchworth.  She was this happy until the rain started and we had to hide under trees for cover.

Intense concentration as the sisters attempt to open a beer bottle with a key, because we collectively forgot to bring a bottle opener to our (rainy, cold, muddy) day out at Letchworth State Park.
Note:  I am most envious of the sisters who have these skills.

This was on the morning of the Ride for Roswell (I did it! 30 miles! On a borrowed bike!) while people were collecting their registration and getting ready to set out.
Holding the orange bag is team member Allie.  It’s not that it’s 7:40 am and she’s tired—it’s that she’s thinking of the five peanut-butter-jelly sandwiches she’s going to eat, thanks to the great food stops and awesome volunteers manning them, during our ride.

I ran the Buffalo Broadcasters Celebrity 5K (I had a great time running it--check out the blog post!) and hung around after the hot dogs were eaten and the beers were chugged to take a couple of shots of the waterfront and marina.

The “after” for the previous photo—Isa displaying a more than appropriate amount of shock and remorse at almost ripping her sister’s new piercing off (or something like that).

On Father’s Day, we went to Audubon Park.  En masse.  ALL of us.  We had a nice afternoon of posing for pictures, looping around the park, and getting childish on the playground.
This was taken in a photo pose-off between my sisters Ana and Isa, moments before they took it too far (as they always do) and hurt each other—this time, by Isa accidentally pulling on Ana’s newly-pierced ear cartilage, leading to the end of the pose-off festivities.  Things ALWAYS end this way with the two of them.
Good thing they got over it fast—they were friends again by the time we found the swings and the slide.
Ah, grownup sisters.

Still at Shakespeare in the Park.
Too funny how Miguel reacts to the sisters—it’s the typical, “what the hell are they up to” yet unsurprised reaction all males who enter the house eventually adopt if they are to survive in the gaggle of women.
